Yes! Handedly’s ‘The Turnkey Clean’ is an exhaustive, top-to-bottom clean of an empty home. Unlike standard upkeep, it automatically includes cleaning the inside and outside of all kitchen cabinets, drawers, bathroom vanities, medicine cabinets, and closet shelving. It also covers descaling bath fixtures, scrubbing tile grout, and cleaning baseboards, doors, air vents, and reachable interior window glass.
Yes. For our cleaning specialists to reach every corner and execute the full scope, the home must be fully emptied of personal belongings, furniture, trash, and moving boxes. (Note: Slipper policy is waived for our team during move cleans due to potential moving debris).
Yes. Running water and electricity must remain connected and active during the entire service window so our cleaning specialists can operate vacuums, run dishwashers, and properly sanitize bathrooms and kitchens.
Absolutely. The Turnkey Clean is specifically engineered to meet strict NYC landlord, property manager, and super security deposit inspection criteria. Every visit concludes with photo and video documentation, giving you verifiable proof of the apartment’s condition for your landlord or co-op board.
Dishwasher interior and all appliance exteriors are included in the base price. Cleaning inside the refrigerator/freezer ($35) or inside the oven, broiler drawer, and range hood ($25) can be added to your order with a single click during booking and checkout.
Our specialists perform light spot-cleaning for scuffs and smudges on reachable walls, interior doors, and switch plates. However, Handedly does not perform handyman services such as pulling nails, patching drywall, painting, or remediation for deep structural wall damage, nor do we do de-clogging of shower, tub, bath, and kitchen drains.
You do not need to be present during the clean. You can leave entry keys with your building’s doorman, super, front desk, or set a lockbox code. Upon completion, our specialists perform a final walkthrough against our Turndown checklist, upload photo/video documentation and return keys directly to your doorman or property manager per your instructions.
